The ’’Simulation’’ series started in 2010. The first image was of 2 folded pieces of paper that resembled two tall buildings. Since then most images I’ve done are closely related to architecture and urbanism. What drives me to create these images are the joy of discovery and the power to create worlds. Some are big and some are just little details.
I am interested in creating images that taps in the imagination of the viewer and also his emotions and memories of familiar places. I have chosen ‘’simulation’’ to be the name for this project because it reflects the state of these objects, that want to imitate reality, and extract an archetype.
Similar to the tabula rasa concept, they are a clean slate for the viewer to engage and personalize the image in his mind using his imagination.
