Kirill Tcipilev
Kirill Tcipilev is a professional photographer based in St. Petersburg, Russia. He primarily does portraits, architecture, abstract photography, fine arts or advertising. He was born and raised in the very north of Russia, beyond the polar circle and has long been surrounded by the mystery of the polar night, snowy cliffs and rocks.
From the very early years, Kirill was exposed to the influence of the northern aesthetics which in its turn triggered his senses and perception of the colors, shapes and geometry. Here you will find some of the works inspired by various cities such as St Petersburg, Berlin, Bonn, Tokyo and Milan.
This series is called Structures and it covers habitats either created or abandoned by people. It actually tells the story of what would happen if ever noisy cities were filled with cold, emptiness, eternal darkness and silence.
