Despite the specified theme of minimalist black and white photographs, this year’s competition garnered an impressive turnout of 1300 submissions, affirming the enduring allure of minimalism within the realm of black and white photography.
The organizers are pleased to announce that Yvonne C. Krystovsky has been declared the Grand Prize winner of the 2024 Black & White Minimalist Photography Prize for her captivating photograph entitled “In Great-Grandpa’s Hands”. She is set to receive a prestigious cash prize of $1000 along with global recognition for her exceptional work.
In addition to Krystovsky’s achievement, a group of talented photographers has been recognized as Finalists, having showcased their exemplary skills in minimalist black and white photography. Their contributions have pushed the boundaries of the art form, deserving commendation for their creative vision.
Both the winning photograph and the Finalists’ works will take center stage in the annual Black & White Minimalist Photography Prize book and exhibition, reaching audiences worldwide.
