Jonas Dahlström
Jonas Dahlström (b. 1975) is a photographer from Malmö, Sweden. He captures the graphic beauty of urban landscapes by focusing on the interaction between light, shadows and geometric shapes, and combining it with the immediacy of street photography.
In 2019, he was shortlisted in Sony World Photography Awards and won Sweden National Awards. In 2020, his first book “07:27:47” was published on Kerber Verlag in Germany.
It consists of minimalist, black and white images of Swedish urban environments. Sorted in chronological order, these images form a sequence that takes place during exactly 12 hours.
