My work is certainly marked by a minimalist approach to Street Photography. I try to achieve a ‘radical simplicity’, looking for an interesting shape, pattern, or texture, using sunlight to create the ‘skeleton’ of the composition.

I’m interested in photographs that feature one person isolated from their surroundings. As a recovering addict, I understand what it’s like to live in the dark. Im constantly seeking ways to express this in my work.

For me, busy city streets need to be simplified in order to get to the truth of what I’m trying to say, shrink the problem to a manageable size, and find a sort of exact presence that eliminates the unnecessary elements of the story.
