Arnaud Bathiard
Born in Burgundy, France, in 1973, I started to take pictures at the age of 40, learning by myself.
I like long exposures and minimalism, Japanese poetry and Jazz records, I collect old African statuettes with a special preference for Fang’s works, I travel a lot – and I guess that’s all about it.
I don’t really feel at ease with most of people, I hate noise, big cities, new technologies, etc Above all, I love the sea and the silence. And that’s what my work is about.
